MARINADE

Prep Time: 30 Minutes
Yields: 3½ Cups

Comment:
Grilled meats always taste best when they’ve had time to marinate in herbs and spices. Try this marinade recipe at your next barbecue.

Ingredients:
1½ cups olive oil
¾ cup soy sauce
½ cup Worcestershire sauce
½ cup red wine vinegar
⅓ cup lemon juice
2 tbsps ground yellow mustard
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp ground black pepper
1½ tsps finely minced fresh parsley

Method:
In a medium non-reactive bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire, vinegar and lemon juice then stir to combine. Add ground mustard, salt, pepper and parsley then stir until all ingredients are well blended. Marinate beef or chicken in refrigerator at least 2 hours.  Before cooking, allow meat to come to room temperature and remove from marinade, discarding remaining marinade.
